Lord of the rings Nail Artby ~EnelyaSaralonde

This was the first design I made for the 50 week nail art challenge. That week was all bout our favourite books and my favourite books of all time are Lord of the rings, The Hobbit and Silmarillion so making a LOTR design was the first thing that came to mind. I had seen a lot of other nail artists do the One Ring design, but they all made the same on. Black script on gold and I wanted my own little twist to this design.

So before the polish had gone completely dry I took a pen and etched the scription in to the polish, while the ink in the pen made it more sooty, not completely black. This made for a subtle effect.

After I was done I regretted it though. I thought all the other LOTR-designs looked so much better than mine, but on the other hand I always think that way when I get my inspiration from someone else, and of course an original is always better than a copy.
